Learning the gPlayer icons

I mentioned in another post that you can choose which player you want to use by clicking the play icon (yellow triangle, upper right) and clicking either the HTML5 player or the Flash player. But are you familiar with the options within the player?

The first button is the menu icon (three lines, upper left). Clicking this will give you scrolling access to our products. They are in alphabetical order so find the product you are interested in and then click to bring up another drop down menu. This second menu is the video track list for that product. Here you can choose a video. If you are new to training with this product you will obviously want to start with the first video, but you can choose any video in the list and it will start playing.

The other side of the player you will see several more options.

The first one, the star, is the favorites icon. Clicking this will allow you to store the video as a favorite to be readily accessible whenever you need it.

The next one is the notepad. It allows you to jot down notes that you might want to remember at a later time.

The clock is the history button. It allows you to reference your most recently viewed videos. A lot of people like to use this to keep track of the videos they have currently watched in a particular tutorial.

The circle made up of arrows is the continuous playback button. Once clicked the next video in a series will automatically start playing when the current video ends. It is by far the most popular feature in our player.

The hourglass is obviously the search function. If instead of scrolling through the menu list, you can type in the name of a product or video and have it come right up.

And finally, if you end up launching one of the players without logging in, you can click the little man icon and it will bring up a log in window right in the player.

And that's it. Now you know all the functions of our gPlayers!
