After downloading the Groove3 app for my iPad/iPhone I can't get sound

I get this question from time to time.  Why can't I hear anything on my iPad? This will cover iPhone too but 95% of the time this question is for iPad.

Almost every time it's the mute switch on the side of the iPad.  If it's showing red, it's muted.  Now, usually this only mutes system sounds and allows music, videos, and apps to play but the Groove3 app is affected by the mute switch so if it's on (showing red) you will not hear sound.  Clicking the mute slider into the unmuted position will bring back the iPads system sounds and allow our app to be heard again.

In the rare case that it isn't the mute switch, check your internal iPad/iPhone preferences and make sure all volume levels are turned on.

And in a last effort, you can always delete the app and redownload it from the app store in case it was a bad download.  That happens although it's rare.

And there you go.  If you are not getting sound on your iPad/iPhone from using our app, chances are the device is on mute.
